- We know there is a lot of information provided during the intake process and some of you have wonderfully been with us for awhile. It is our hope that this will eliminate confusion and help avoid future surprises.
- Best case scenario – you are able to give us at least 24 hour notice prior to cancelling and we simply cancel the appointment.
- No show – not showing up for a confirmed schedule appointment results in a no show and is charged in full
- Cancelling within the hour also counts as a no show and is charged in full
- No shows or cancelling within the hour DO NOT have the option to reschedule to avoid the fee
- LATE/LEAVE EARLY FEES: Arriving late or leaving early from your appointment is considered to be a partial no show and is charged accordingly
- Less than 24hr cancellations – If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, we track them 1 – 5. The first four occurrences are tracked, with no charge. The 5th time, there is a charge for the appointment and then your count will restart back to 0.
- Counts do not restart each year – the only way the count restarts is to reach #5 and start back over at
- If we are able to reschedule your appointment within 5 days, you can avoid the cancellation and count as a reschedule. If you have to end up cancelling the reschedule however; both cancels count.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns – we are happy to help clarify things as needed. We are grateful to have you as part of the Starfish Therapies family!
