Fall is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy the crisp air! Want to make it fun? Turn it into a scavenger hunt! Here is a sample scavenger hunt form you can use, or make up your own!
If you want to build on this idea you can collect items like leaves, acorns, twigs, etc to make crafts. You can flex your creativity muscles and see what you can come up with! I saw some really fun animals made out of leaves glued onto paper with a little paint added.
Want to make it more active? Add in a motor activity for each item or for various parts of your walk. You could jump over lines, stomp in puddles, leap between sidewalk squares, tip toe through the grass, roll a pumpkin, etc. The important thing is to get moving!
